It is almost a tradition in Japanese professional baseball to have celebs, idols or actresses launch the first pitch at important matches with popular teams. On Sunday June 16, 2016, actress and model Komatsu Nana was in charge at the Chiba Marine Stadium, home of the Chiba Lotte Marines, who were then to play against the mighty Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
