In 2011, 15-year-old Komatsu Nana had been working as a teen model since she was 12. She often appeared in girl magazines such as Jill, Haco or Spoon. She also shot a couple of music videos for J-pop bands Radwimps and Plenty as well as the short musical film called Shabondama. That year she became a brand model for Samansa Mos (SM2-Can Shop)
