As one of the nominees for the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ category, Komatsu Nana attended the ceremony of the 43th Japanese Academy Awards which was held at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo. Much to her fans disappointment she did not win the Top Prize but her nomination is one more step towards full recognition by the Japanese movie industry. Her time will come with another role, another year.
In 2019 the young actress starred in three films: Samurai Marathon, Farewell Song and Closed Ward, three very different roles which demonstrate how versatile she is. On March 6, Komatsu Nana was her usual self: charming and humble yet glamorous and beautiful.
