Early 2018 famous British photographer Harley Weir went to Japan and worked with actress and model Nana Komatsu for what is still her most spectacular photoshoot. The bulk of the work is relatively soft and mild when compared to Weir’s general production which you can check on Instagram, yet it shows a different Nana Komatsu.
It was released in the Spring/Summer issue of I-D Japan with introductory words from editorial director Kazumi Hayashi. So here it is, Into the dream: a photo session with lights, garments, settings, colors and the weird Weir touch that enhance the uniqueness and peculiarity of the young model’s beauty.
